Dr Mallika Goyal is a Senior consultant and
heads the
Retina-Vitreous & Uveitis Service at the
Apollo Eye Hospital, Apollo Health City,
Hyderabad, India. In her extensive
experience of over 20 years in Retina-Vitreous & Uveitis
Services, Dr. Goyal has successfully treated
numerous Indian and international patients
with varied complexities, and has gained
strong expertise in the Retina-Vitreous & Uveitis Services subspecialty.
Dr. Goyal has done her MD Ophthalmology from
Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic
Sciences, All India Institute of Medical
Sciences, New Delhi, India, 1992. Following
which she also successfully completed the
Diplomat of the National Board,
Ophthalmology in 1993.
She received three years post-MD training in
Retina, Vitreous and Uveitis at Dr. Rajendra
Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, All
India Institute of Medical Sciences, New
Delhi, India from 1993 to 1995. This was
followed by one year fellowships at LV
Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, India;
Wills Eye Hospital, Philadelphia Pa, USA,
Barnes Jewish Hospital, St Louis, Mo, USA;
and Vitreous-Retina-Macula Consultants of
New York (Dr Yannuzzi's group).
In recognition of her contribution, she has
